Our goal is to make the dictation/transcription process as
simple as possible. We work closely with you to see how we can reduce
the dictation time required to generate reports, facilitate speedy
turnaround time, and teach your support staff how to work intelligently
with computers. We help clients understand how to use the following
tools of today's technology:
- Customized Formats: We customize report formats to
meet each client's needs. This includes reproducing your letterhead as an
electronic template and customizing signature lines for different
dictators.
- Document Tracking: We can identify and
sort your transcribed documents by job number, dictator, work type, or
date. If a document has been transcribed within the past six months, we
can find it and send it to you in a few minutes.
- Electronic file transfers: We deliver your
work electronically using a secure, HIPAA-compliant web service..
- Document file format: All of our transcribing is
completed using Corel WordPerfect for Windows. Documents are sent in WP
format. This format translates well to many other wordprocessor program
formats. If your office is on a Macintosh platform, we can also
transmit files to you that have been stored in Rich Text Format (*.RTF).
- Intelligent use of boilerplate text: Doctors often
need to include certain boilerplate text in their reports and
correspondence. Whether this text represents a conditional waiver, an
informed consent, or a normal x-ray report, we can show you how to cut
costs using simple electronic shortcuts.
- Intelligent use of word expanders: Doctors
frequently will dictate correspondence to a select group of referring
physicians, claims adjustors and insurance companies. The electronic shortcuts we create are
particularly helpful to doctors who stutter or speak English as a
second language.
